If I can manage to wipe the drool off my chin long enough to type this post, I just received email notice from Adobe about preordering the new Creative Suite 3. A small part of me has actually been kind of dreading CS3 coming out, only because for the past 2 years, I am actually up to date with design software for the first time in my professional life. Previously to my current work experience, I have had to deal with hand-me-downs and production houses too cheap to upgrade.
But this? Custom suites tailored to your specific area of expertise? AND the Design Suite even includes the new Flash and Dreamweaver?! I would have never gotten my work to buy me either of those programs! But now they'll have to! By default! All for a mere $600 upgrade fee.
Thoughts, fellow geeks? Me wantee...
And (hopefully!!!) no more crashy shit on my Intel-based MacBook Pro... I seriously have butterflies.
