So I wrote this Kids in the Hall guide on Pajiba, and you should check it out, eh? Because it's really good and I'm really proud of it.Side note -- in the guide I didn't mention Brain Candy. I know that Brain Candy is deadpanned among some circles of fans, but you know what? I really like it. Sure it's got some weak spots, but it's also got some killer jokes that pull the whole thing together. But the really hilarious thing? The Kids in the Hall themselves hate Brain Candy. In the DVD commentaries, at least once each season someone brings up Brain Candy just so they all half bitterly and half gleefully trash it. Now come on, boys. It wasn't that bad. Considering that these five guys put together, (since KITH ended) are responsible for some of the most horrific cinematic carnage of all time -- Spice World, The Godson (a Godfather parody starring Kevin and Rodney Dangerfield), Epic Movie, Stealing Harvard, Not Another Gay Movie, and The Wrong Guy? Okay, so that last one was kinda funny, but you get my point. Guys I love you no matter how many terrible movies you make, but go easy on Brain Candy, eh?

I didn't see the Kids really until after college, when I was working p/t and they were on every day on Comedy Central right after lunch. So much great stuff mentioned there...genius.
I have to join you in the Brain Candy love.

I went to my house, and thanks to a heatwave that has ended, oh, today -- didn't leave it much. It was a much-needed break from work though, as my "urge to kill" level had been on the rise.
